In April 2018 Kanye tweeted for days about a song that would answer his critics. The answer was 'Lift Yourself': a gorgeous Amnesty soul loop, a minute of build, and then roughly thirty seconds of improvised syllables about scooping poop, delivered with total conviction.

It is the most famous troll in hip-hop history and the clearest statement of this site's thesis: a rapper at the height of his powers, with the world's attention, chose poop. It is the national anthem of Poop Rhymes and will remain number one until something tops it. Nothing will.
