Annotation

On his debut album's opening track, the most earnest rapper of his generation boasts that he can out-fart a rival. The Source flagged this line in 2024 as the apparent template for Ice Spice's 'Think U the Shit (Fart)', which means J. Cole is the godfather of a chart hit about gas. He has never addressed this.
